Annul Membership Meeting and Election

To All Alabama Club Directors and Coaches:
Some issues with the boards nomination procedures require that the Coaches and Membership Meeting scheduled for this Sunday, Oct. 5th to be rescheduled.
The issues are in the process of being resolved and will not impact the nominations put forth to the board for election. The rescheduled date is Sunday, Oct. 26th. More information to follow.
We apologize for the need for this date change and request your patience as the issues are worked through.
All Clubs interested in hosting a tournament this year will need to submit their requests tournament dates to Todd Wheeler (Director of Youth Wrestling-email: firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than Friday October 3, 3014 by 11:59PM.
Some Important information to consider when requesting to host a Team AL Tournament:
1. Please check the Team AL Tournament Standards (located on www.alabamawrestling.net website) to be sure the club hosting the tournament can meet those standards. #mats/wrestling surfaces, etc.
2. You have approval to host the tournament on the date you request
3. Renew your Club membership before submitting your request (only clubs with current memberships will be considered
4. Request your first and second choices for host dates
5. Selection will be based on past tournament performance and other related criteria

The Tournament calender will be discussed at the October 26th Coaches and Membership meeting and selections finalized by late October.
